Ourc Mens 8 Finish 3rd

The Otago University mens 8 have finished 3rd at the international university rowing regatta in Beijing, China. The OURC crew rowed well pulling through Pavia in the last 100m and narrowly missed out on claiming the 2nd place from Princeton. Tsinghua University from China finished in 1st. Initially overcast and cool the course cleared up and racing took place in sweltering 31 degree heat.
The crews now travel to Chengdu in Sichuan province to compete in the next round of racing and with any luck will finish higher on the podium.
