Otago again defended their overall title at the 2013 University Rowing Championships held at Lake Karapiro.
The women defended their championship 8 title for the seventh year in a row. Illness forced a last minute crew change yet after an absence of 3 years the men were still able to regain the title for the men's championship 8 and the Hebberley Shield.
Otago boasted a large squad that competed strongly in all divisions.
