Womens 8 Invited to Compete in the USA

The Otago University Women’s Eight have been invited by the University of Washington to attend the prestigious Windermere Cup Regatta in Seattle during the early weeks of May. The regatta has over 40,000 spectators lining the sides on the Montlake Cut cheering on the local University of Washington Huskies.

OURC now has 3 current elite rowers after the announcement of the Rowing New Zealand elite team yesterday, with Fiona Bourke named the Women's quad which is bound for the London Olypmics, Fergus Fauvel in the Mens 8 and Alistair Bond in the lightweight pair.
