The 2007 NZ University Rowing Championships will be held from 10-12 April at Lake Hood, Ashburton. On 10 April the Mens' and Womens' Senior Eights will be raced, respectively. Youth Olympic Festival 2007

OURC member and current Junior World Champion, Sam O'Connor (2006), represented New Zealand at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival, held in Sydney from the 19-21 January 2007.
Sam achieved two podium results, with the Mens' Coxless Four finishing second to Great Britain. The Mens' Eight finished in third place.
