Mens 8 Invited To Compete In China

Otago Univeristy Rowing Club has once more been invited to field a mens 8 to compete in an international universities regatta in China. This year the regatta will return to Beijing and Chengdu however another province will be added to the tour to be named closer to the time. Otago have previously won the regatta in 2009 and in the past 2 years finished 2nd. Naturally this year they will be looking to get back into the 1st place position. The regatta brings together tough competition from universities such as Yale, Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford and is an exciting opportunity for university rowers.
The crew is yet to be named and will be selected following the university rowing champs.
