Ourc Win Cromwell To Clyde Long Distance Race

The OURC mens senior 8 have won the Cromwell to Clyde long distance race over the weekend. The number 2 OURC crew finished in second place. The two crews posted quick times with the winning boat coming down in 56 minutes and 49 seconds with the number two crew going just over the hour mark in 1 hour and 15 seconds. The OURC womens quad managed to finish 7th in the quads division and were the second womens quad home finishing in a time of 1 hour 11 minutes and 42 seconds. This gave them the 10th fastest time overall. The quick times came despite very choppy conditions that saw the singles racing cancelled due to safety concerns.
